Busy busy busy.
That is the best way to describe us lately.
Thursday of course was Valentine's Day. We went to Seth's Mom and Dad's for dinner (The Farnsworth Family Restaurant) and then they stayed at our house with Simeon while we went out for ice cream.
Friday we went back to their house to do some hot tubbin'. We tried to take Simeon in with us and he thought that was a very bad idea. He just cried and clung tight to mommy. Grandma had to rescue him and feed him cookies to make him happy :)
On Saturday we had lots of company come in for the weekend. My parents came in the afternoon and we were able to go to the temple with them. It was great. We hadn't been since I was pregnant with Simeon and being pregnant at the temple was less then enjoyable. So we were really glad to finally be able to go again.
That night my friend Michelle and her husband Austin came in. I worked with Michelle at the Happiest Place on Earth (the HLRC) and it was really exciting to be able to see her again and to have her finally get to see Simeon. We thought Austin was great too :)
On Sunday, the Bishop gave us the surprise of our lives by calling us to be the Roadshow Specialists! We got the theme for the show last night at Mutual and the show is a week from Friday! Insanity! Actually last night went over really well. The youth were all really excited and willing to give input. Mostly we put it all in their hands and we are just there to guide them / make sure things get done. Anyway, we are doing a Stripling Warrior Dodgeball game, so that should be pretty interesting.
Simeon has been sick for the last two days. He is feeling better today but still isn't is usual smiley, stompin', snorty self. We hope he gets better soon.
