A few weeks ago Seth came home with this really great pass that they gave him on the train. It gives us free entry to any state owned museum within the train corridor (meaning anywhere between Belen and Santa Fe). At first we thought that it would only be good for one person, but it got our whole family into the Museum of Natural History for free! We wanted to go to Explora but it isn't a state run museum. Still we had a lot of fun (and so did Simeon). Mostly Simeon was just overwhelmed by all the new space to run around in. He just couldn't decide where he wanted to go first. We ended up spening a lot of time with Mr. T-Rex:

We also spend a lot of time going up and down the stairs:

But our absolute favorite thing to do was press all the knobs and buttons. I'm sure we pressed every button there was to press in the entire museum - repeatedly.

I wish I could fully explain to you Simeon's first encounter with the volcano. Unfortunately it was dark enough in there that it was hard to get good pictures. But he walked in somewhat warily and then saw some of the red light in a crack in the wall. Then he saw a bigger crack, then he saw a whole wave of "lava" coming down the wall. And then he saw the FLOOR which looks like moving lava under your feet. He just ran from one spot to another with those big eyes we all love.

He also thought it was REALLY neat to sit in this little cave:

So we had a really great time. Check out these awesome dinosaurs.

Seismosaurus

Yes, that is a butt-huge, ancient crocodile
They are actually opening a new Dinosaur Exhibit in March and it is before our free pass expires so we are way excited for that. Who doesn't love dinosaurs?

Yeay for dinosaurs! There's a rock shop near our house with a free prehistoric museum in the basement--very fun.
