Simeon turned 2 on Friday! And the funny thing is that he suddenly acts like a 2 year old! It's so amazing. I was just worrying a few days ago because Simeon wasn't saying very many understandable words and then he turned 2 and it's like he's suddenly trying so much harder to mimic the sounds he hears us say! It's incredible!
But besides that, being 2 is really fun. My parents came down for Simeon's birthday and we all (minus Seth) took Simeon to the Aquarium. It's kind of like the one fun place in Albuquerque that we hadn't been to yet, and I was very impressed. It's a small aquarium, but the big shark tank is one of the best I've ever seen (even better than the shark tank at Sea World).

Simeon had such a great time! He just ran back and forth saying "shishies, shishies." We believe he got thoroughly overstimulated.
We had his birthday party on Saturday so that Seth could be there. Seth's parents came over and Seth grilled some tasty hamburgers. It was a beautiful day to have a party in the back yard. Simeon is getting very thoroughly spoiled by his grandparents. Every kid deserves to be a little spoiled :)

He can't actually reach the pedals but he can push along the ground with his feet. And those buttons and nobs are pretty awesome.

Simeon looks like he had a BLAST! I would love to take Kaydence to the aquarium. I can't believe he is in his "terrible two's" now! He just seems to get cuter and cuter, how could that sweet little boy with that innocent face ever get in any trouble ;)
Wow! He's getting so big! I can't believe how fast they grow up. Looks like it was a fun birthday. P.s. Seth, good luck with your rotations. This is where the fun really starts!
